Obituary of Deborah E. Bosko

TROY –

Deborah E. Bosko, age 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.

She was born October 17, 1952 in Troy to Raymond and Dorothy Thibodeau. She was a graduate of Troy High School and attended Bauder Fashion College in Miami Florida.

Deborah is survived by her three children, Shawn and Ryan Bosko, Ashley Christensen, her sister Jackie Swanteck, and her nephew Zachary Swanteck.

Deborah worked as a New York Telephone operator and for the New York State Insurance Fund.

Deborah had a zest for life and enjoyed being active. She spent her free time dedicated to health and fitness. She enjoyed dining out and spending quality time with those who were dear to her. She recently began to enjoy traveling. One of the ways Deborah most expressed her love for others was through her thoughtfulness, generosity, and selflessness. She always took the extra time to wrap and prepare each gift to make someone feel special. Deborah had a passion for horses and enjoyed being outdoors.

Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.

Relatives and Friends are invited to an hour of visitation from 10AM until 11AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 North Lake Avenue, Troy, NY 12180, where a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in the church at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
