Obituary of Sandra Lynne Kelly
Schenectady, NY
Sandra Lynne “Sandy” Kelly passed away peacefully, at home, on January 07, 2018, in the presence of her devoted son, Nicholas Schultheis, who cared for his mother throughout her final days.
Sandy was the loving and devoted wife of the late Samuel C. Kelly who died in June, 2013. Sandy is survived by her loving children: Nicholas and Jessica Schultheis, her very special granddaughter, Arianna Marshall, her loving brother, Walter Schultheis, and her beloved cat, Little Bear.
Sandy was a kind and soft-spoken person who never had a bad word to say about anyone. She enjoyed hiking in the Adirondacks; loved to play a good game of Bingo; was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and was always up for a good rock concert.
Here's to the great times at the Moody Blues, Sandy!
Sandy worked for Contec in Schenectady, NY for almost 30 years, and went on to work for the NYS Schools for 4-5 years. A hard days work was never a challenge for Sandy.
In the face of serious illness, Sandy demonstrated courage and remained cheerful. Her strength and determination was remarkable.
Family and friends will dearly miss Sandy. There are no formal services planned at this time.
